Friday Night Fireworks Barge

Walked down to the ballpark during the 8th inning when the game was tied 2-2. Hadn’t photographed fireworks in years, but I’d been seeing the barge parked at the riverfront all summer during runs and dog walks. When I got the idea for the shot in my head, I just assumed the barge would stay docked and remain still along the riverfront.

But barges move and so does the river (ticket’s don’t, unless it’s a “fireworks Friday”).

So the plan, and camera settings, changed.

The Reds ended up losing 6-2 and the Castellinis are still terrible owners.

Sell the team, Bob.
