To the City of Bridges and Back - Chapter 4: Wandering in Wheeling
The drive from Pittsburgh to Wheeling was rather uneventful, and traffic was light. I had no desire to go back and see the nonworking Perry Como statue, and the two museums I considered stopping at were already closed for the day, so straight into West Virginia it was.
With Snow and Ice, Cincinnati echoes Brooklyn
With the freezing rain and snow coming through this past Sunday, the John A. Roebling Suspension Bridge connecting the cities of Cincinnati, OH and Covington, KY was closed due to ice accumulating on its surface. The lack of traffic allowed the rare opportunity to walk right down the middle of the road and see a unique perspective of the Queen City icon as it echoed the views of its Brooklyn brother.

My first attempt at making a "Cinemagraph," a still image with slight motion. What can often be an elegant and beautiful way to capture and convey a moment or place in time can also be a huge pain in the ass in photoshop.
