Views of Cincinnati
I grew up with an appreciation for postcards and film photographs of city skylines. In 2012, I decided to attempt a broad photographic study of an often documented subject: the Cincinnati skyline. The following frames represent selected highlights as I sought out views of the city’s central landmarks in ways both unique and common.
The original plan for this project called for 224 individual images to be made in a year (an arbitrary constraint I came up with as a student). The idea of a specific number (and the title of “224 Views of Cincinnati”) was eventually abandoned, but the blog posts remain.
