I have this friend, his name is Ryan. I usually refer to him on here as "Ryan Texas Ranger." He's come along on some adventures for this website before, but his best known trait is what he calls "making cool shit happen." It's true, I've known the guy for nearly eight years now and he's gotten us into some pretty cool things. He's always got some kind of connection or some crazy plan concocted and it usually pans out to be something awesome (he can also be an asshole and bring sardines into your apartment and stink the place up just to get some laughs).
So one day I'm sitting at work and get this text message from him: "You wanna get our own internet radio show?" I was busy, but knew not to doubt him and that this was probably going to happen and just said "yes." I forgot about it all until that weekend when we had some beers with the folks from CinCityRocks.com. Ryan pitched a show to them, I drank beer and nodded my head - a few weeks later and voila we now have an internet radio show called...
Why is it called our "Nice, Sit Down Restaurant?" Well you'll have to tune in to hear that story, it's kind of an underwhelming tale, but I'll tell you what isn't disappointing - our first guest! Who might that be? His name is Bill Mefford. Who's Bill Mefford you ask? I'll tell you...
He's a guy who pissed off Neil Armstrong. Yeah, he pissed off an American hero! How did he do it? Why did he do it? You gotta tune in! Mefford was also a long time PR guy for Kings Island amusement park and helped open Universal Studios in Florida. He's going to be sharing some pretty cool stories.
