I sat on a hill across the river, in another state, listening to the game stream through my cell phone. I stared across at the lit up stadium as the Reds went down. Then the stadium lights cut out and the broadcast ended. I listened to some music, the camera was all set up. Two kids came climbing out of the woods below me. "See! I told you it was a good view" says the boy to the girl. Finally, the sky begins to explode and the city sounds like it's being shelled by colorful artillery.
The bombardment stops, the stadium lights come back on and a karaoke rendition of Fats Domino's "Walking through New Orleans" can be heard coming from the nearby houses.
