November 2016

It’s been an interesting month and aside from one update, I haven’t posted since the last monthly photograph post. Even this one’s a few days late. Over the past year I’ve developed a better workflow that allows me to produce more QC/D content, but this month would seem to conflict with that statement. November started with having to stomach watching the Chicago Cubs win the World Series followed by the conclusion to one of the more interesting elections (and the fallout/ongoing news from all of that). I also moved from West Chester, Ohio, where we’d been the past year, into the city of Cincinnati. Then we found out we had to move again while I was involved with stuff surrounding an FC Cincinnati event on top the holiday and my day job. With all of that going on, I haven’t had much time for QC/D or shooting anything really. So here’s the photographs from November, noticeably fewer than past months, with more actual QC/D stories to come as soon as I get some time and unpack my computer again.

...oh, and that Waffle House story. I need to get back to that to.

Images made with a Canon 7DMKII and iPhone 7+.

- The entrances to the parking garage at The Banks look an awful lot like subway entrances.

- Cincinnati Police handcuffs used as bike locks.

- Great American Ballpark the day after 2016 World Series where it had been sitting empty for weeks.

- Fort Washington Way and 3rd street.

- Roebling Bridge as seen from a Southbank Shuttle "Trolleybus."

- William Gentry playing his horn on 6th Street.

- Flags in the Central Business District on Veteran's Day.

- Painting a tifo with Die Innenstadt in preparation for a visit by Don Garber, the commissioner of Major League Soccer.

- Downtown Cincinnati fog as seen from the 2nd St. streetcar station.

- Brendan Kelly performing with The Falcon at the Northside Yacht Club. I photographed him and his other band, The Lawrence Arms back in 2014, but hadn't heard The Falcon live since 2007.

- Post 2016 Election remnants.

- Cincinnati Metro bus on the 12x coming down Gilbert Ave.

- As Don Garber from Major League Soccer came to visit, Rhinehaus was kind enough to hang up Die Innenstadt's very first tifo.

- Woodward Theatre packed for Don Garber's visit. Shitty iPhone panoramic to capture the entire hand painted tifo that lined the theatre's balcony.

- Highlights of Don Garber day.
