[Fading Advertisements] Fort Wayne and Angola, IN

A few ghost signs logged while on a recent, quick trip through Indiana. Only had some time for quick and casual research so if anyone familiar with Fort Wayne or Angola, Indiana history has some info to share, let it be known in the comments below.

Another Fort Wayne sign was featured back in January.

In late 2015/early 2016, I published my second book: Fading Ads of Cincinnati, which took a look at the history and remains of the city's fading advertisements or "ghost signs." Since the book's publication, I've kept up on documenting these wherever I find them and keeping updates on the fate of some of the ones from the book.

- Fisher Bros. Paper Co. Fort Wayne, Indiana.

- Fisher Bros. Paper Co. Fort Wayne, Indiana.

- Fisher Bros. Paper Co. Fort Wayne, Indiana.

- Nondescript words and "wholesale."

- Nondescript words and "wholesale."

- Nondescript words and "builders" on the right hand side.

- Still pretty clear.

- Not the traditional hand painted ad, but still a "ghost sign" regardless.

- In Angola, In no amount of clever photo editing could make all these words appear. Best I can make out is "Eastern Indiana Title Inc. 665-9908 (maybe?)."
