Building an Archive on Flickr

I’ve begun working on a project to upload everything* I’ve shot since I was 16 (about a year before I founded QC/D when I first started taking photography seriously). In a day and age where social media has become nearly untenable, I’ve found that Flickr is one of the few remaining digital platforms where people can still come across things honestly while sharing their work genuinely.

Now, this website is my primary soapbox and I’ll absolutely keep sharing stories here, but if you’ve enjoyed my work at any point over the last (nearly) 20 years—you might also enjoy following my Flickr account where I’ll be digging up all kinds of stuff.

And if you’re taking the time to follow me, I highly recommend you also follow the talented Travis Estell. He’s been a huge inspiration for this project and I hope my efforts lead to people connecting over random nonsense in the same way he and I have.

* Within reason, of course. I’m not gonna upload every wedding or commercial contract I’ve shot, but early 2000’s digital photos of the former Wonderpark in the Forest-Fair/Cincinnati Mills Mall + every other pseudo-interesting thing that I’ve documented between then and now? It’s on its way.
