The Hieroglyphic Tile
Lammi pointed out a new street tile that seems to have appeared in downtown Cincinnati relatively recently. Quick (internet) research based on the tile’s use of hieroglyphics seems to indicate that what’s being depicted might be some sort of funerary or memorial offering. That’s just a (very) loosely “educated” guess, though.
Something that I do know for a fact, however, is that it’s not the work of House of Hades.
If you know more or have an idea on what the symbols may depict/convey—let me know.
For now, it’s been added to the Field Guide.
Since 2007, the content of this website (and its former life as Queen City Discovery) has been a huge labor of love.
