Rubber Bowl Sunday

Stayed at the 21c Museum Hotel in Downtown Cincinnati recently, electing to spend our anniversary/New Year’s Eve as a “staycation” in the Queen City instead of traveling elsewhere.

West Virginia

My friend Ryan wanted to take a weekend trip to Charleston, West Virginia and then swing through other parts of that state, Kentucky, and Ohio before heading home. He was kind enough to invite me along.

And then kind enough to tolerate me as I kept getting car sick, had delayed us initially, and had brought us to a terrible truck stop diner.

He’s a great friend.

The compact Canon “Autoboy 2” has been a fairly reliable ever since I “Frankenstein-ed” two non working models into one. On another trip to Cleveland, it was the only camera I brought along, opting for the simplicity of its operation after becoming exhausted from the frustrations of the previous trip.
